Regional Park of Matese

A mountain massif between Campania and Molise, born in 2002 to safeguard one of the most important limestone and dolomitic massifs, the Matese Regional Park preserves many natural beauties.

The Matese Regional Park is considered a transition area between the Middle European region and the Mediterranean, its territory is rich in wild places, populated by Apennine fauna, but also by gentle landscapes, with lakes such as Matese at 1000 meters, the highest in Italy, the Gallo and the Letino, from the blue waters in which they mirror the tops of the mountains, well preserved historical centers and genuine typical products.
A time to dedicate to live the genuine and sincere relationship with nature, culture, traditions and its different ecosystems.
