The Borgo dei Normanni dates back to 1200. It has preserved its original appearance mainly thanks to its characteristic stone houses, which have all been finely restored, and are ready to welcome tourists from all over the world. The houses of the village guarantee the charm of a village suspended in time and a breathtaking view that can be enjoyed from every part of the village, in particular from the terraces Infinito and Galino, the latter so called in honor of the Norman soldier who, In 1200, he took refuge around the castle the population of Colliano to save them from Saracen attacks. The stone houses have all been recently restored, maintaining, however, their original stone soul: the outside returns an image out of time, while the interior is furnished with a refined style common to all units, equipped with all the comforts and services necessary for a relaxing stay.
