Piano di Pecora
The territory of Colliano, with its parks, meadows, reforested areas, the protected area of Monti Eremita and Marzano, the WWF, the equipped areas in Piano di Pecora and Piano Luongo, consist of a flora, essentially formed by beeches and alders and a fauna that consists of kites, buzzards and wolves, which offer an ideal setting for those who want to spend a day in contact with nature still untouched. To reach the equipped areas you have to reach the hamlet of Collianello and from there continue for about 8 km . Along the road you have an eye of extraordinary beauty over the whole valley, up to the Tyrrhenian Sea; the first equipped area you meet is in the locality of Piano di Pecora; you reach it with a minimum of effort, but it is really worth it. In both areas you can breathe clean area, you can walk along the paths and have lunch thanks to the presence of tables, chairs and benches. Piano Luongo is 800 metres from the equipped area of Piano di Pecora.
