Museum of the territory - Casa Pezzolla

The ancient house of the doctor Giacomo Pezzolla houses the City Museum dedicated to the culture and territory of Alberobello.

The museum, small but of considerable interest, collects in 15 trulli communicating with each other, many material and intangible testimonies concerning the origins of the trulli and the extraordinary peasant culture at its base. On the way along the sections of the museum it is possible to deepen the historical path of the city, the main productive agricultural activities, the architectural techniques and the everyday life of the inhabitants of the Alberobello of the past. The museum also deepens history and evolution, not only of the city, but also of its territory and its most representative places, such as the internment camp "Fondazione Gigante", the Bosco Selva, the hamlet Coreggia and much more.
